2019 marks the Seventh Annual Covey Film Festival, which benefits Thomasville Community Resource Center’s (TCRC). The Festival has become one of the Red Hills region of southwest Georgia­­—north Florida’s premier film events. Covey showcases films that entertain, educate, and engage its audience. It also serves a catalyst for generating extraordinary conservation efforts in the region and supports the mission and programs of the Thomasville Community Resource Center. Although the entire Festival serves to benefit TCRC, it is the Covey Gala and Auction that generates the bulk of the fundraising income.

The Covey Gala and Auction is a critical fundraising component for TCRC with event proceeds providing support for TCRC’s after-school programs, enrichment activities, parent/child programs, family support, and educational, outreach, and wellness programs in Thomas and Grady counties for over 350 children and their families.
