Covey Film Festival 2018 is seeking non-professional filmmaker submissions between now and September 30, 2018. Our new theme reflects the mission of Covey Film Festival: Educate, Entertain, and Engage. Submitted films must reflect this mission in some fashion. Film submissions will be judged by professional filmmakers. Award winners—one for those under 18 and one for young adults—will be awarded a festival prize and recognition on the Covey Film Festival website.
The Rules and Regs
Filmmakers under 18 with proof of student status and young adults up to age 21 (whether in in school or not) are eligible to submit films. You are required to submit a photocopy (file) of your student ID or other proof of age.
Your film can be made using your phone or other video-recording device, as well as a camera.
The film CANNOT be longer than THREE (3) minutes including credits and titles.
The film submitted MUST be your own work. You are responsible for obtaining releases from any actors in the film.

Your submission must be received NO LATER than SEPTEMBER 30, 2018.
